Nancy Hamm, a Certified International Advanced Newborn Care Specialist, and Advanced Infant Sleep Consultant, is the visionary founder behind Gentle Venture's Training Classes. With an impressive 33 years of experience as a Newborn Care Specialist and Infant Sleep Consultant, Nancy has dedicated over 50,000 hours to caring for babies. She has worked with a diverse range of newborns, including twins, triplets, quads, sextuplets, and preemies, always cherishing the opportunity to care for these precious children.

Nancy is the owner of Exclusively Newborns and Gentle Venture's Training Center.

Nancy has continuously pursued knowledge and expertise in her field throughout her career. She has completed college courses on Child Physiology and Child Development and received extensive training in breastfeeding through the La Leche League and CAPPA Lactation Education Training. Additionally, she is a certified Breastfeeding Educator through Lactation Management Skills and a Happiest Baby on the Block Educator. Nancy has also undergone training in Supporting New Parents from the University of Colorado and completed Summer's Sleep Secrets Training Course, among numerous other sleep training courses.

Nancy firmly believes in holistic care and incorporates this approach whenever possible. She has dedicated 1800 hours to training in homeopathy and even completed her internship in Sri Lanka and Phoenix. While not an herbalist, Nancy integrates herbs, essential oils, acupressure, pediatric chiropractors, cranial sacral therapy, and home remedies into her training, providing a comprehensive and well-rounded approach to infant care.

Driven by her commitment to excellence, Nancy founded the Newborn Care Specialist Association (NCSA) when she recognized the need for standardized guidelines in certifying Newborn Care Specialists. As a true visionary in the field of newborn care, Nancy's extensive research and expertise have established her as an authority on infant care. In 2019, she passed the torch of the NCSA to two remarkable women who will carry forward her vision.

Her unwavering dedication to providing exceptional support to infants and their families is evident in every aspect of her work.
