Mother/Baby Dyad Masters' Seminar — Heather Wheelock
Heather Wheelock, OTR/L, PCD | Occupational Therapist, Postpartum Doula | Founder of Heart to Brain OT
Recording | 2 hours
Heather Wheelock is a neuro-holistic occupational therapist specializing in nervous system development, neuroplasticity, and primitive reflex integration. Drawing from the philosophies of Moshe Feldenkrais, Emmi Pikler, and Magda Gerber, her approach prioritizes connection through movement and honors each child's innate developmental timeline. She is a certified provider of the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) and trained in the Gillespie approach to Craniosacral Fascial Therapy. She is also a certified doula and credentialed K-5 teacher.
In this master-level class Heather explores how to support infant nervous system development through gentle touch, sensory processing, motor development, and foundational reflexes that shape early patterns of movement, learning, and emotional resilience. She offers practical tools for parents and caregivers grounded in respectful, relationship-based care.
This class is designed for Newborn Care Specialists, Doulas, Midwives, and anyone working closely with newborns and their families.
